Choosing to “Always Eat After 7PM”, a Review

Have you ever wondered how life would be if you could basically eat whenever and however you wanted? Yep, me too. I have always been one to test out new ways to gain more control over my life for a healthier stance. This is why I chose to give the book, by Joel Marion a try! Here is my review of choosing to Always Eat After 7PM.

Nothing better than an easy read.

First off, I chose to give this book a try because I have been wanting to get my energy, sleep, and hormones back in check after having kids. It has been a roller coaster to say the least, and I have tried out many different things from supplements, exercise, and diets. Always Eat After 7PM

After reading that had a lot of great factors that could possibly help me out, I decided to give it a read. I am not one sit down and take a lot of time to read a book if it isn’t an easy read. I mean, hello parenthood. This book was not only easy to read, but full of a lot of insight to the scientific background of how this diet actually works.

These excerpts taken from are the reason why I couldn’t put down this book:

“Avoiding carbohydrates and restricting calories later in the day can have an adverse effect on your thyroid hormones, which play a major role in metabolism. When the thyroid fails to secrete enough of the hormones that control metabolism, this can trigger symptoms like fatigue, depression, weight gain, thinning hair, and dry skin.”

“Your body follows a circadian rhythm—an internal metabolic clock—in which hormone levels fluctuate throughout the day. Cortisol is one of these hormones. Under normal circumstances, it is naturally elevated in the morning to get you alert and ready to go. Over the course of the day, it naturally falls. As cortisol drops, the sleep hormones, melatonin and serotonin, rise. They, along with growth hormones, support nightly healing and repair, helping us look and feel younger.”

If you are wondering how and where this diet came along, then keep reading! It took Joel Marion several years of researching to discover the real science of eating late night. After a few years of tweaking and refining, he was finally able to come up with a rapid fat loss solution that overcomes all those pitfalls of the traditional diets. 

Always Eat After 7PM

You know what the most surprising discovery was when Joel Marion was researching scientific data for the diet? Almost everything he learned in college as well as certifications were not grounded in published scientific research.

Joel Marion’s Always Eat After 7PM program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance. I love it when I am handed a plan that I can easily maneuver into my daily schedule. The plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good.

Did I mention the recipes? There are also countless recipes that are easy to follow and delicious. One of the best aspects of this part of the book is their is an introductory to help get your kitchen and pantry ready for these recipes and the plan!

Time to shift the focus to what is important, not to what time of day it is.
