Sub Sandwich

Creating a Sub Sandwich Lunch Kit

September 3, 2019 · In: Main Dish, Recipes

This post was sponsored by King’s Hawaiian as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Now that school is officially underway, it is time to keep things in order. This includes all things related to homework, extracurricular activities, as well as those school lunches! My kids get bored with the same ole packed lunched. Here is one way to switch things up: creating a sub sandwich lunch kit.

Creating a sub sandwich lunch kit.

I don’t blame my kids for getting bored with having the same lunch every single day. I like to switch things up myself. This sub sandwich lunch kit is super easy to do and will also have your kids excited to be ‘prepping’ their very own lunch. With having all that they need organized in the bento box, they can take care of everything when it comes to creating their very own sub sandwich.

What all do you need for this lunch kit?

This is where things can get creative! I assembled our sub sandwich lunch kit in a bento box. This helps keep all the toppings organized, making it easier to assemble those sandwiches. The most important ingredient to make sure not to forget is the . King’s Hawaiian offers a variety of bread products that make for an exciting meal time, even the most creative lunch! The unique flavor of the King’s Hawaiian products is why we choose it for our main ingredient. They can be used for a variety of recipes, ranging from sweet to savory! My kids are huge fans of King’s Hawaiian sub rolls, and yours will be too!

Once you have your , you will need to decide what all toppings your child may want for his/her sub sandwich. We opted for pickles, cherry tomatoes, cheese, turkey and ham! A few other ideas would be shredded lettuce, pepperonis, and cooked bacon pieces. If your child loves mayonnaise or mustard, you can spread this in the middle of the roll before packing.

Keeping lunch interesting with King’s Hawaiian.

The options are endless when you are trying to prepare a delicious and creative lunch with King’s Hawaiian products. Grab a pack of the along with all of the sub sandwich condiments while you are at the store. No easier way to keep lunch time interesting and creative during the school year!
