The perfect spinach and artichoke dip appetizer.
Having a great appetizer on the menu for a get together is a must. I am always here for both the the company and all the food! This recipe that I am about to share is one to save for the books. An easy creamy spinach and artichoke dip that is more than good.
A good appetizer is a must.
Is it even a party without appetizers? Well, it surely isn’t a party if there is no appetizers on the menu. It is even better when there are foods that are easy to eat. Chicken wings, chips and dip, including all the party bites are just some of my favorites. Spinach and artichoke dip is a classic recipe that is great for any occasion.
I believe it is the Parmesan cheese that makes this spinach and artichoke dip so good. Of course the mixture of mozzarella cheese and cream cheese gives it the creaminess it deserves.
The perfect creamy spinach and artichoke dip.
It’s all about how the ingredients mesh together. I love the combination of cheeses with the chopped artichoke hearts. Another tip for making this artichoke dip is to cook the spinach down first. I use frozen chopped spinach leaves. Saute them for about 5-7 minutes to not only unfreeze them, but also to help get rid of all the excess water. This step has made all the difference in the consistency of the dip.
You can also use a variety of crackers and chips with this dip! From pita chips, bagel chips, to good ole Frito Lays, the options are endless with this dip. Fresh veggies would also go great with this creamy spinach and artichoke dip.
