When the summer brings the heat, you find that rainbow fruit charcuterie board.
Although we love to enjoy fruit all year round, it seems to be even better during the hot summer months. The freshness and coolness as well as that sweet flavor is what is most needed after a day out in the sun. This rainbow fruit charcuterie board makes it even more fun and beautiful to enjoy.
Sunshine and rainbows with fresh fruit.
I say bring on all the summer fun! The kids have been attending camp this week, and it has given me the much needed time to catch on life and figure out a summer schedule for our family. We want to have fun, but also need a schedule so that we can make the most of each day.
My son thrives off of having a schedule as do I since I am trying to balance working at home with the kids being here. Having easy and fun activity ideas for the kids as well as easy snacks is a must! This rainbow fruit charcuterie board is the perfect idea for your families summer snack.
How to make the most of this rainbow fruit charcuterie board.
With this fruit snack board, you are going to want to prep all the fruit beforehand. This will give the kids the opportunity to assemble their own rainbow board. I am going to mention the knife I used because it honestly made preparing all the fruit so much easier! I was able to cut some of the pieces thin enough to arrange in a fun way. If you are looking for a reliable knife, then check out the Nakano Chef’s Knife. If you use the code THESPROUTINGMINDS , you will get 10% off your order. This knife really is that good 😉
As for the fruit, you are going to want to find fruit that fits into the rainbow theme. Choose fruits that are red, orange, yellow, green and either a blue or purple color. I also added veggies, cheese and crackers. It is a fun charcuterie board for snacking, right?
Now lets look into exactly what I added to our rainbow fruit charcuterie board.
