– 1 roll of puff pastry dough – 2 cup of pecan pieces – 1 egg – 1 (14 oz) can of condensed milk, sweetened – 1 cup of light Karo Syrup – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 tsp of salt

Ingredients:

Mix the pecan pie filling: egg, condensed milk, Karo Syrup, vanilla extract and salt. Once these have been mixed well, fold in the pecan pieces and set aside.

STEP ONE

Prep the puff pastry crusts. Roll out the puff pastry dough onto parchment paper, and cut 12 rounds using a 3 1/2" biscuit cutter.

STEP TWO

Pierce each round several times using a fork. Then place each puff pastry round into a muffin cup and press down to make sure there is no air between the puff pastry and the muffin cup.

STEP THREE

Add 1 tablespoon of the pecan pie filling into the center of each puff pastry round

STEP FOUR

Bake at 350 for 16 minutes or until the puff pastry starts to brown.

STEP FIVE

Remove for the oven and allow the pecan pie puff bites to completely cool before enjoying!
