– 2 packages - Pillsbury Double Roll package of dough – 2 cans- 21oz of apple pie filing (used LuckyLeaf brand) – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract – 1 stick of unsalted butter, softened at room temp

Ingredients:

Preheat the oven to 375 and add one of the pie crusts to your pie tin. Stick a fork in it a few times to add some aeration holes. Bake it for five minutes.

STEP ONE

While the pie crust is baking, make the mini cinnamon rolls. Mix up the butter, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl.

STEP TWO

Roll out one pie dough crust and spread half the cinnamon-sugar butter onto the crust, leaving about and inch around the crust without any.

STEP THREE

Roll up the crust, and cut thin cinnamon rolls. Repeat with the other crust.

STEP FOUR

Remove the pie pan from the oven and add the apple filling. Then top with the mini cinnamon rolls. You won't use all of them.

STEP FIVE

Bake for 15, then reduce the heat to 350. Continue to bake for another 40 minutes until the filling is bubbling and crust is a golden brown.
