Planning ahead with great toy finds.
Planning a head is great for when it comes to gift buying. When I see a good deal on a product or find a toy that I know someone would absolutely love, I try and snatch it up. I was more than thrilled to be able to attend Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite Virtual event this year for more than one reason! Keep reading to see what all great toy finds I came across at this awesome event.
Products for all.
I was able to tour and see behind the scenes of so many different brands. From toys that were perfect for my toddler to those that would keep my 9 year old engaged. Products for educational purposes? Of course! This is particularly great for the times we are living in right now.

Toys with an educational touch.
Alright, I am going to start with all those brands that have an educational aspect. With so many of us keeping our children home during this back-to-school time, having products that make learning fun are a must! Here are some of my favorites:
Building Sets and play sets that are more than blocks and toys.
We already know how much fun building sets can bring. Well, these are some new building sets that hit the mark on bringing so much more home!
Snap Ships : Ok, I need to say a little about these because I love them that much. Snap Ships are all about bringing 360-play to building sets. These sets can actually be played with after ‘snapping’ the blocks in place. There is also an interactive app that goes along with each set built and a series on YouTube. Y’all, we are all about these!
blockaroo: These magnetic foam blocks have a great STEM aspect!
Lego : I know these have been a favorite for a while now. I am mentioning them again because I am all about some of the game components they are adding to some of their sets!
Schleich : These play sets are unreal! Nicely made and look realistic!
Calico Critters : Fuzzy and cute!
Those with a surprise element are always a favorite and those plush toys.
We all know how much our kids love toys with a surprise element. Those that come with some sort of ‘surprise’ within.
Moose Toys: Moose Toys have been a part of my family for as long as I can remember! Here are some of our favorites: Oh! My Gif, Shopkins, Treasure X, Scruff A Luvs
Playful Pandas by Far Out Toys: These interactive panda toys are so cute! They will be coming out this fall and will link as soon as they are available!
Secret Crush Minis : Y’all, this surprise toy is so cute! Candyland game meets Candy Crush with the ability to ‘bang’ your way into the surprise box! So much fun and interactive.
GoGo Gachas : Brings the fashionable charm aspect to the surprise toy!
Technology and gaming.
It is hard to believe how far we have come when it comes to the world of technology and gaming! I remember growing up play the very first Nintendo and Sega Genesis. Do y’all?
Family fun with game nights.
My kids love games! They may not always end pretty once there is a winner, but the game playing is always fun. Loving all the new games that are out that include more than 1 player!
Crafts and slime.
Ok, I could have possibly put this into the educational product list. I decided that these products needed a section for just themselves. My kids are huge fans of all things craft and slime-related. There were so many great brands with awesome products to bring crafts and the fun of slime home!
Chocolate Pen : Alright, I know this isn’t necessarily a ‘craft craft’, but it brings the crafting element to the kitchen by allowing for chocolate art creations!
The holiday season isn’t too far away.
Now is the best time to start creating those gifting list for all our children. The holidays will be here before we know it, and I am all for being prepared ahead of time. 2020 has already been a doozy, no need for any extra surprises 😉 Have y’all started buying gifts or creating a gift list yet?
