All about Taco Tuesdays and a simple margarita recipe.
If you were to ask me what would be my favorite adult beverage, it will always be 3 drinks: red wine, blood mary, and a margarita. I always make my choice depending out what we are eating that night. Margarita though is one that I can enjoy any time of the day. When I got my hands on this Stanley cocktail shaker set, I was more than ready to put together a simple margarita recipe with agave.
Margarita recipes are easy and fun to concoct.
There are so many different options when it comes to margaritas. This includes flavors: lime, strawberry, to even blood orange. There are also frozen margaritas or margaritas on the rocks. How about one that is made with a margarita mixer? The options are endless when it comes to the margarita!
This one is more than simple and is so refreshing! I love that it isn’t too sweet since we are using agave nectar sweetener. Sometimes I can’t handle those margaritas that are way too sweet. A simple margarita with agave is the way to go for any time.
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 caps (shots) of agave nectar sweetener
- 3 caps (shots) of tequila
- 1 cup of ice
- Juice the lemon and lime; pour into a shaker
- Add the tequila and agave.
- Add the ice
- Replace top of shaker and SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE
- Half the margarita into 2 different cups, pouring through a strainer
- Enjoy! You can garnish with lime slices from the other half of the lime.
Enjoy that simple margarita with Agave.
All I can say is once you try this simple margarita recipe with agave, you may not want to go back to the margarita mixers! This one is flavorful yet light, doing way with all that unnecessary sweetness. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I do. Now, bring on the tacos!
