Creating a Fun Back to School Planner

Here I go again, talking about all things back to school-related. I guess when you have 3 going to school in less than a month, it is hard not to mention those back to school things. Lets talk about those back to school planners.

Back to School & Planners

Planners are something I find necessary during those wild and crazy school years. There are so many different assignments, meetings, extracurricular activities, and early dismissal days that you must have one in order to keep up. The one thing I love about planners is that you can create them to meet your needs and wants. Its all about you when it comes to your planner.

Prepping that planner.

In order to have a useful planner, you first need to decide why you actually need a planner. Do you need to know just what is going on specific days or are you looking for a more detailed, hourly-type of planner? Do you like to incorporate methods of motivation through out your day or are you a straight-to-the-point type of planner? You need to take all of these into consideration when you are prepping for your planner. Yes, there are that many options out there!

Making it personal.

Once you have decided what type of planner will be the most functional in meeting your daily, weekly, and monthly needs, you will then have the chance to personalize it. There is so much more than writing in special dates into your planner. I love to make it more about me, even though majority of those dates are filled with events that surround the busy schedule of my kids. Stickers and colorful pens are the best way to keep that planner fun and personal.
