Pumpkins, pumpkins, and fall flowers, put together to create a faux pumpkin floral arrangement.
Hello, fall! I can’t tell y’all how excited I am to know that we are officially in the fall season. There is just something about fall that makes me ready for all things pumpkin and a few touches of spooky. Hey, can’t skip out on Halloween. Although I am all about a trip to the pumpkin patch with the kids, the Louisiana heat is still too much for the pumpkins. Enter in the faux pumpkins.
Faux pumpkins can look real and pretty.
Have you seen all the faux pumpkins lately? Y’all, there are some that look like real heirloom pumpkins. I know this because I purchased a few for my front porch. There are even carve-able faux pumpkins. These are great for craft projects, and my faux pumpkin floral arrangement! This diy project is not only really easy, but it adds a beautiful fall touch to any bistro cabinet or table centerpiece. It would even be the perfect addition to a tablescape for Thanksgiving.
With there being so many selections for the faux pumpkins, you can truly put your own touch to this project to make it your own.
White pumpkins are simple and a great working piece.
I know you all have seen the white pumpkins. There are real white pumpkins as well as faux white pumpkins. I love the look of white pumpkins when you are putting them with other bold colors. They just stand out and give a simple yet clean touch. It was no wonder that I was going to work with a white pumpkin for this floral arrangement!
The white pumpkin base allowed me to go both neutral and bold with my faux flowers. I new the fall colors that I wanted to incorporate into my fall centerpiece, and working with a white pumpkin allowed me to do just that.
HOw do you choose your flowers?
Honestly, it is totally up to you! You may want to pull more oranges and yellows than I did. Maybe you like a lot of the burgundy or burnt orange colors that just scream fall. Again, this is totally up to you!
I am going to link everything for you in case you would like to just create the exact same faux pumpkin floral arrangement that I did. I purchased all of the items from Michael’s and on sale!
