Pizza pizza pizza, we are all about the pizza.
Do your kids love pizza? We are all about 3 things in our home: lasagna (has to be homemade according to my son), taco Tuesday, and pizza. What makes pizza even more fun is when it is made from home. My son was all about this mini pizza recipe for kids. See why this recipe is so good.
It’s better when its easy, right?
There is something about cooking or baking in the kitchen with kids when it is easy. It always seems better when it is easy. Enter in one of the most easiest mini pizza recipes for kids that is considered homemade. I know it would be even easier if I were to use ready-to-go pizza crusts, but that takes some of the fun of ‘making’ the pizzas. Making pizza dough from scratch is a bit of a hassle and long process. My kids are not about the waiting game when it comes to making food.
Pillsbury knows a little something about this. They have a great pizza dough that can be rolled out and is ready to be ‘decorated’. How much easier can this get?
The toppings.
This is where your kids can be creative. Set up a little station with all the different toppings that can be added to each mini pizza. My kids wanted to stick with the simple pepperonis and cheese. If your kid loves hamburger meat or even veggies, you can put them out in a bowl as well! This step is a lot of fun for the kids.
Making the mini pizzas.
When I say this recipe is easy, it is easy. All you need is a can of pizza dough, a biscuit cutter (or a cup with a 3″ opening), and toppings. The dough is ready to go, and you don’t have to worry about a rolling pin or flour. Let’s get to the recipe!
