No better way to celebrate National Peach Cobbler Day than with a smoothie.
When I heard that it was National Peach Cobbler Day, I knew I had to find some way to celebrate. I could have gone with a peach cobbler recipe. Instead, I decided to go with a peach cobbler smoothie. You heard me right. A peach cobbler smoothie. Check out more about this smoothie recipe.
Millions of peaches, peaches for me.
I have always been a huge fan of peaches. It is a good thing since I live in the south and we are all about some peach cobbler. A peach cobbler is known for being a warm and savory dessert with a crumble topping. We have been trying to incorporate more healthier meal options as well as snacks in our home this month. So I of course decided to put together a peach cobbler smoothie recipe for y’all instead of the traditional peach cobbler dessert. Don’t get me wrong here. I will be back with a peach cobbler recipe that is not only easy but so delicious!
Another thing to note. I had no clue that peaches would be out of season in early March-April. I don’t know why I assumed they would be in season all year round, haha! If you find your self in a pickle trying to find fresh peaches, remember that a smoothie recipe does much better with frozen peaches. You can pretty much find these year round in the freezer section.
How to meal prep for a peach cobbler smoothie.
Here I am again with another meal prep tip! Meal prepping is honestly easy to do. It just takes a little planning on your part. For any smoothie, you can freeze all the dry ingredients and fruit in a freezer-safe container. I normally use freezer ziploc bags. When you want the smoothie, just dump these ingredients in a blender. Then add your liquid base. That is it! Super easy and makes having a healthy snack or breakfast simple when you have a chaotic schedule.
