Tried and True Routine of Motherhood: Bath Time

If you don’t know this by now, I am a mother to 3 children. It has taken these past 7 years to learn what has worked and what has not worked for our family when it comes to routine. Bath time is one routine that cannot be overlooked due to skin sensitivities and finding those products that are just right. As a mother, I am thankful that I have always been able to count on JOHNSON’S® Baby products for being reliable.

Having that bath time routine.

All parents will learn that having a bath time routine makes things go much more smoothly, especially during those first years. Bath time is still an important part of our daily routine. My youngest recently turned 2 and looks forward to taking baths. It is a way for her to unwind after a busy day.

Tried and True Routine of Motherhood: Bath Time

Babies are the same way when it comes to having a bath time routine. If you plan it before laying them down for the night, it will help them transition from those daily activities to getting ready for bedtime.

How to have that routine.

In order to have a successful bath time routine, you first must have those bath time products. JOHNSON’S® Baby products have been my go-to since the day she was born. I stand by JOHNSON’S® Baby products as well as their relaunched products being

“The Brand You Trust. Now More Gentle Than Every”.

JOHNSON’S® Baby products are 100% gentle, and free of parabens and phthalates. They are dye free, sulfate free, and worry free. This is all very important to me as a mother and knowing that I am using trustworthy products on my kids. Even though JOHNSON’S® products have been around for 100 years, they are constantly evolving to maintain the safest ingredients while also staying true to the brand we have all grown to love and trust.

Tried and True Routine of Motherhood: Bath Time

I also make sure to have a clean diaper, clothes, and wash clothe/towel ready before running the bath water. Being intentional with the routine will keep it running smoothly and hopefully giving to an easy bedtime!

Tried and True Routine of Motherhood: Bath Time

And then there is Walgreens.

I make sure to have my JOHNSON’S® Baby products on hand at all times, but life can get chaotic. Bringing home a new baby or having a toddler, there are going to be those crazy moments. Thankfully there is Walgreens that can be trusted to carry those JOHNSON’S® products. Our local Walgreens is our go to for not only the pharmacy, but also for those quick pickups.

Tried and True Routine of Motherhood: Bath Time

The staff is always so very helpful and will be there to make the trip go quickly. Lets face it, every minute seems precious as a parent. I have made multiple trips into Walgreens to pick up instant ice packs for those extreme ‘ochies’ or a fever that is just a little to high. They have been there for so many moments that I needed the most, when our children were not feeling well.

Tried and True Routine of Motherhood: Bath Time

I trust Walgreens for so much, including carrying JOHNSON’S® Baby products. I can pick up my products in less than 5 minutes. Huge mom win right there! JOHNSON’S® Baby products just relaunched their newly reformulated products at Walgreens.

Tried and True Routine of Motherhood: Bath Time

As much as I love JOHNSON’S® Baby products and Walgreens, they are perfect for gift giving! I love that I can pick up the First Touch Baby Gift Set as well as the gift wrapping all in once place. No crazy lines, so can pick this up last minute before heading to a baby shower or to go welcome a new baby.

JOHNSON’S® savings at Walgreens

What makes Walgreens even better are those savings that they offer. Beginning on 8/26, you can save $1 on any JOHNSON’S® lotion, wash, or hair care item. It is a digital clip to card offer that expires on 9/22!

Love shopping at Walgreens. Even though I love the smell of these products, I don’t buy them because my son is allergic.

It is so important to have a bath time routine. When my kids were small we had a very clear bath time routine and it helped the kids know what to expect. Thank you for sharing your routine with us.

What do you do with these 3 things : @appalachian_ What do you do with these 3 things : @appalachian_cast_iron , LSU Football, and 1st tailgate of the season? You make a great recipe perfect for tailgating of course! This Handmade Carbon Steel Skillet from Appalachian Cast Iron is not only much easier to cook with compared to cast iron, each skillet is truly unique! The hammered texture is unique for each skillet, but the handle is even hand made and practical. With the precision grind of the cook surface, there is enough “tooth” for the seasoning to adhere - no worries of that seasoning flaking off like some carbon steel skillets. Also, you can personalize the bottom of the skillet!

Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
-1/2 white onion, diced
-1 red bell pepper, sliced
-1 1/2 cups sliced bella mushrooms
-1 tbsp minced garlic
-1 lb shaved beef steak
-~2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-5-6 slices of provolone
-salt/ pepper to taste
-Hawaiian Rolls

Add onion, red bell pepper, garlic to hot skillet and cook until tender, add mushrooms, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and salt/pepper and cook down until mushrooms darken and are more tender. Add water as needed; remove from skillet and add seasoned shave beef to a hot pan. Add 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and cook until meat is no longer pink. Add veggie mix back to pan and top with provolone. Allow to cook until cheese is melted. Serve on sliced Hawaiian Rolls!
