The Best and Easiest Way to Grind Spices.

May 27, 2022 · In: More Recipes, Gift Giving, Lifestyle, Momlife

The world of spices at your fingertips.

We all know the importance of spices when it comes to whipping up a recipe. Spices are the key ingredient that will elevate any recipe. Each spice brings its own aroma and flavor, even bringing you to another country while still standing in your very own kitchen. Now you can get the world of spices at home, thanks to FinaMill. The best and easiest way to grind spices. And the best part is that you can shop the FinaMill products directly in my blog below and receive an 11% discount by exclusively shopping in my blog! I have added shoppable FinaMill links below.

FinaMill Best and Easiest way to Grind Spices
A grinder that is reinvented.

It is no wonder that you will find my spice cabinet over stocked with a wide variety of spices. From cumin to Himalayan pink salt, I have collected them all to create the perfect dishes that are full of flavor. When it comes to some seasonings, you want them to be fresh. The fresher the spices, the more flavorful and aromatic.

Adding the peppercorns FinaPod to the FinaMill Grinder

One of the easiest ways to include fresh spices is by using a grinder. I know you have seen these before or quite possibly may have some sort of grinder in your home. These generally have you twisting one end to ‘crack’ the spices up before they fall into your mixing bowl our on top of your prepped food. Lots of work for a little bit of spice. That is until the creation of FinaMill, the easiest way to grind spices.

The best and easiest way to grind spices.

FinaMill was created with the consumer in mind. There is no more hand cranking and twisting required, and it is a one-handed operation. Simply place the FinaMill base over a pod filled with spices and push down to secure it in place. Then with the push of a button, you will have freshly ground spices!

FinaMill FinaPods for grinding spices

With each spice having its own dedicated pod, you can be assured that the flavor will stay fresh. Plus, these refillable pods are a great way to help cut down the use of one-time plastic and glass jars. You can adjust the grinding size on each pod, depending on the spice.

I love the entire concept of FinaMill. It is also great for getting kids helping with food prep. The ease of FinaMill allows for our kids to add freshly ground spices to our meals without the hassle of trying to twist and shake.

Seasoning has gotten a lot better with this FinaMill Grinder
Not just for salt and pepper.

We normally think salt and pepper when it comes to spice grinders. Not with FinaMill. The dedicated pods allow for you to grind multiple different spices, not just salt and pepper. With the options of GT, Pro Plus, and Max FinaPods, you can grind anything from cinnamon, parmesan, peppercorns, dried garlic, allspice, and coffee beans. How cool?!

You can truly up your seasoning game in the kitchen thanks to FinaMill and the ability to get the world of spices at home. Now check out FinaMill in this recipe video that would be perfect for this summer. It is used to season the ground beef as well as the homemade french fries. The options are endless with FinaMill, making it the best and easiest way to grind spices!

How are you going to use your FinaMill?

This is the perfect time to take advantage of the 11% discount by exclusively purchasing any of these FinaMill products from my blog. Father’s Day is right around the corner! Who wouldn’t want an awesome gift basket to make grilling and cooking easier and more delicious? I am all about those gifts that keep on giving, like these FinaMill products below.

A spicy pasta recipe that is so good! Maddy DeVita A spicy pasta recipe that is so good! Maddy DeVita knew what she was doing with this Spicy Tomato Tagliatelle as did @seventhgeneration with their Clementine Zest & Lemongrass Dish Soap, 95% Biobased Formula. It helps tackle grease WITHOUT all the extra effort. Giving more time to delicious meals and family time and not extra when it comes to cleaning!

What you need:
1/2 pound egg tagliatelle
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more if you’re feeling bold)
4 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup finely grated parm, plus more for topping Kosher salt, as needed

What you do:
Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil (don’t be shy - this is your pasta’s only chance to season itself properly). Cook the tagliatelle until 1 or 2 minutes shy of al dente, following package instructions.
• While the pasta cooks, warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and let them gently sizzle until fragrant and beginning to brown, about 3 minutes.
Remember, as Nonna would say, “DON’T let the garlic burn!”
• Add the tomato paste to the skillet. Break it up into the oil and fry for about 2 minutes until it deepens in color and gets a little caramelized- this step is key for building the rich flavor of our sauce, don’t skipl
• Add a ladle of pasta water to the skillet and whisk, scraping up any caramelized bits, until a smooth sauce forms.
When the pasta is 1 or 2 minutes shy of al dente, use tongs to transfer the pasta straight from the pot. Toss over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes, adding more pasta water as needed, until the pasta has finished cooking and the sauce has thickened up around the pasta.
• Turn off the heat, then stir in the parm until it melts into the sauce like it belongs there (because it does).
• Serve immediately. Try not to eat it straight from the pan... but no promises.

Enjoy 😘
