Are y’all about an easy and comfortable style? I know I am all about them, especially when you can make it casual or dressy. That is why I have been obsessed over paper bag shorts for a while now. I absolutely love them! I have a few pair as well as a few pair of the paper bag pants. Let’s just call me a big fan of this style.
Paper bag shorts: both comfy and stylish.
I love the paper bag shorts trend. It is so easy to style and is a great trend for all body types. The higher waist of majority of the paper bag shorts gives a cinched in appearance. They are so comfortable too! I have a pair that are made out of a jean material, and they are about as comfortable as my ones that are a spandex/polyester blend.
Momma got some legs too.
If you are wondering how these will truly fit, let me tell you how they fit me. I have a more athletic build. My butt and larger thighs can be an issue when it comes to a lot of shorts. These shorts are the best fit for my build. The paper bag waist look great above my hips, and the legs of all the shorts I have purchased have the perfect fit. They have not been too tight or too loose.
My waist can also make it difficult since I don’t have much of one. Most shorts I have tried to wear, the waist is puckering out. I am not all about that draft hitting near the butt line if you know what I am talking about. These paper bag shorts come up high enough and the cinching and tie at the waist keep this puckering from occurring. Y’all, can I just wear these shorts everyday?

Love these mustard color paper bag shorts I purchased off of Amazon. Y’all, they have the perfect stretch! There are a lot more color options as well! These have the most stretch out of all my paper bag shorts.
There is always room for black.
You can never have enough black in my opinion. That goes for paper bag shorts as well! These are a Target find, and I absolutely love them. They are my go-to when I am wanting to look more dressy. The material of these are more of a dress pant material and don’t have as much stretch as my Amazon ones.
Animal print brings the fun.
Now for these fun ones! My leopard print paper bag shorts just entered into my life the other day. These were ordered from Blu Spero boutique and are made from a jean material. I have found some from Target that are a mixture between my black and yellow pair, but are the leopard print. Y’all..I will be adding the Target pair to my collection really soon! They didn’t have them in stock at my local Target. So, this girl is having to wait it out.
Try out this trend while its still a trend.
I think everyone should at least try out this trend if they have not done so yet. I believe it will be one that will be sticking around for some time due to its ability to flatter all body types!
