Back to school…alright!
The summer has officially come to an end, leaving all of us with children preparing for back to school. School this year looks different from years past, but that is ok! We can still make the best of however schooling may look with a little bit of prep. Here is how we are getting ready for back to school this year.
How to get ready for back to school.
Most of us are feeling overwhelmed with the mere thought of back to school. Do we home school, hybrid mode, or can we send them to school 5 days a week? So many questions going through all parents and caretaker’s minds right now. The most important thing is to do what is best for you and your family!
Once you decide on which schooling mode your family will do this year, then you can truly get ready for back to school. Thankful for Kleenex® Ultra Soft™ for ensuring that no matter how back to school may look this year, they are here to support student, teachers and parents to go back fully prepared, especially when it comes to hygiene and germs!
Getting ready for back to school includes not only the much needed school supplies, but also educating our children on the importance of hygiene.
School supplies.
School supplies are needed every year, and this year is no exception. From backpacks, pencils, colored pencils, sanitizing wipes, and, Walmart has all of your BTS needs with the options of in-store, delivery, and pickup! This is good to know when the option of going in-store may not be the best option for you right now.
These school supplies are great for all the schooling options! My 3 kids are all doing 3 different schooling methods: in-school 5 days a week, hybrid, and homeschooling. Lots of organizing and having school supplies on hand are helping keep us in check for learning this year.
Educating on BTS Hygiene.
As I mentioned earlier, educating our children on the proper ways of hygiene is more than important right now. Here are the top hygiene facts to share with your children.
Hand washing.
It is no wonder that hand washing is at the top of the list for hygiene. Teach your kids how to properly wash their hands: wet your hands with clean, running water, and apply soap. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Make sure to lather between your fingers, backs of your hands, and under your nails. You should scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds (Row Row Row Your Boat Song sang 2x).
Keep hands off of face and out of mouth.
This is a great thing to teach kids early because it is a habit for all of us to want to touch our faces. Even with clean hands, it is great to make it a point to not touch your face. The biggest way germs are spread is through putting hands in your mouth and touching your face.
Cover a sneeze or cough with a tissue.
The best way to stop the spread of germs is by keeping it contained. How so? If you have to cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, like Kleenex® Ultra Soft™. It is America’s #1 Ultra Tissue, made with 3 layers to help protect your hands and comfort skin. So not only are you helping to stop the spread of germs by using a tissue, Kleenex® Ultra Soft™ is helping to protect your hands from the germs as well.
After you use the tissue, put it in the wastebasket. Then wash hands.
No food or drink sharing.
It is so tough for kids not to want to share their food and drink. Teach them early that drinking or eating after other children is not the best thing to do right now. Sharing is caring, but sharing germs is not.
Prepped and ready.
Having even the smallest ounce of peace of mind about schooling this year is what we are all looking for. Remember, we are all in this together along with Kleenex® Ultra Soft™ so be sure to add it to your next Walmart Online Pickup & Delivery order !
