Baking and gifting with M&M Oatmeal Cookies & CreateMyCookbook.
How is everyone’s Christmas shopping going? Are y’all done yet? I am slowly getting there, but still have lots to do. There is one gift I had planned a head of time, and that is my CreateMyCookbook Cookie Cookbook! I made a point to have it ordered in advance so that it could be gifted with my M&M Oatmeal Cookies in a mason jar!

How am I gifting cookies and a cookbook?
I have been obsessed with the concept of CreateMyCookbook for years. It is truly a gift that keeps on giving and is personalized. You can add whatever recipes and photos you want to your cookbook. For my Cookies for the Holidays Cookbook, I included my recipe for chocolate chip oatmeal cookies in a mason jar.

These mason jar cookies are perfect for gifting because it gives whomever you are gifting all the dry ingredients they need for any cookie recipe. For these oatmeal cookies, the only other ingredients needed to bake them are eggs, butter and vanilla extract! They can bake them whenever they want them. Such a fun and thoughtful gift, especially when you include your personalized CreateMyCookbook cookbook!
CreateMyCookbook.
CreateMyCookbook is so easy to use! If you haven’t read all about it, check out my recent post on how to create your very own cookbook with CreateMyCookbook, https://thesoutherlymagnolia.com/holiday-cookie-gift-giving-with-createmycookbook/

As I mentioned above, you can personalize your cookbook with CreateMyCookbook. If you aren’t into baking, you could create a cookbook of your favorite soups. Maybe you have a list of family recipes that need to be stored in one place. CreateMyCookbook is perfect for that and great for gifting. This is why I couldn’t pass on the idea of gifting CreateMyCookbook with a baked good from that very cookbook!

You know what is fun about baking? You can usually substitute and swap out some of the added ingredients, like my chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. For this recipe, I decided to go with M&M’s instead of the chocolate chips. The perfect cookie recipe to use for a mason jar cookie gift!
