The end of the school year is literally around the corner, which also means the summer is practically here too. I am all for this! No better way to celebrate than with some Oreo cake balls. These are not only super easy (yes SUPER), they are really good. They will also make for the perfect end of the school year treat for all those special ones in your life. I know you all have heard about Pillsbury, but have you heard about their new Funfetti baking products? Well, you don’t want to miss out on these fun products with an Oreo twist! From cupcakes, cakes, to brownies and even pancakes, you can have your fix of that great chocolate sandwich cookie in your baked goods. I have made traditional Oreo balls as well as cake balls. The combination of both Oreos and cake balls is more than perfect. Plus it is super easy!
The Pillsbury Funfetti Cake Mix actually contains pieces of Oreos. Yep! Its not just crushed cookie pieces, but small pieces as well. The frosting comes with crushed Oreos in the lid. Perfect for adding to the top of your cake balls before the white candy coating sets.

The Pillsbury Funfetti Oreo Cake mix and Frosting makes the entire process easy. To make the cake balls, you just make the cake mix according to the box. Then add in the entire tub of frosting to broken up cake. Lastly for the cake balls and dip them in white candy coating. This recipe is that easy thanks to Pillsbury.
Oreo Cake Balls Made with Pillsbury Funfetti
No better time than now with the end of the school year practically here to celebrate with some cake balls, Oreo Cake balls made with Pillsbury Funfetti Cake Mix and Frosting.
Ingredients
- 1 box of Pillsbury Funfetti Oreo Cake Mix
- 3 Egg Whites
- 1 cup of Water
- 1/2 cup of Oil
- 1 container of Pillsbury Funfetti Vanilla Oreo Frosting
- 6-8 squares White Candy Coating
- *Extra Oreos for topping
Instructions
- Bake cake according to package
- After cake completely cools, break it up with a spatula.
- Then add the entire container of vanilla frosting and mix well.
- Form the cake balls in about 1-2 inch size and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Transfer to the fridge or freezer for at least 20 minutes so they can set before the next step.
- Melt the white candy coating according to the package, and dip each cake ball into it.
- Place it back on the parchment paper and add the crushed Oreo topping that came with the frosting container. You can also add your own crushed Oreo pieces.
- Allow to fully set, about 10-15 minutes.
