The smaller sized yellow potatoes make the cooking time quicker. These potatoes were only cut in half to cook. If you want to speed up the cooking time even more, you can cut them again into fourths. I love a recipe that is just this simple!
Simple Parmesan Crisp Yellow Potatoes

Ingredients
- 7 yellow potatoes
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2-3 tbsp shaved parmesan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 415
- Place butter in a baking dish and place in oven to melt
- Cut and score the potatoes
- Remove the baking dish with the melted butter from the oven and add the garlic and onion powder; mix well with a spoon
- Add the grated parmesan and stir
- Place the scored potato halves scored side down, then sprinkle with the shaved parmesan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
