Anyone have those summer traveling plans underway? We are just now preparing for our summer vacations, and let’s just say the excitement is getting hard to contain. Besides all the itinerary planning and what all to pack, I have to think about how our actual traveling will go successfully. Here is how I prep for traveling with those kids.

Summer traveling and packing the essentials.

First comes first: must pack the essentials for the long car ride. We all know how long car rides go with little ones. There will be lots of ‘Are we there yet?’ and requesting for snacks. We can’t forget about those much needed potty breaks a long the way. So what do I pack to make these trips go more smoothly?

• Snacks: Pack those snacks! Fill a small ice chest with juice pouches, water bottles, and easy-to-eat snacks. Cut up fruit and small crackers are always a hit.
• Books and movies: To help pass the time, pack those favorite books and movies. They will help keep the boredom at bay during the ride.

Plus, you can do all of the ordering directly from you phone. Hello best friend to the mom on-the-go.
