I have been a huge fan of Trader Joe’s for a while now. It is not only their reasonable prices, but the awesome products you can find there. So many different unique options, and I have a recipe for you with Trader Joe’s items! If you love eggs, then you are going to love this Delicious Trader Joe’s Vegetable Hash Omelet.
Love it when I feel like I have started the day off healthy.
There is something about starting the day off right. Whether this is getting up earlier or making a point to have some quiet time before you begin with a chaotic schedule. I have found that when I eat right first thing in the morning, I am setting myself up for the rest of the day. It can be hard to make a point to eat breakfast sometimes. Believe me, I totally get it. I make sure that every one else in the house is fed, leaving not much time for me to eat. Hint: why I am excited to share this delicious Trader Joe’s vegetable omelet with y’all!
If this is the case, I will grab a yogurt or a granola bar of some sort. Even though I have eaten something for breakfast, it may not be the most filling. Leaving me starving within an hour. Anyone else feel like this? This isn’t an issue if I make a point to fix me a breakfast that is meant to be filling and get my day starting off right. ‘Eggcellent’ way to start the day.
Ok, I couldn’t help myself with that phrase. It is true though! If you don’t have an egg allergy, then eggs are a great way to get protein in as well as give you that good energy to get your day started. You can do so many different things with eggs too. Our family loves eggs. We go through 2 dozen eggs a week. We could top that if we really wanted too. When I saw this Vegetable Hash at Trader Joe’s the other day, I couldn’t wait to try it in an omelette. Boy am I glad that I gave it a try! A delicious Trader Joe’s vegetable hash omelet is exactly what I needed.
Trader Joe's Vegetable Hash Omelet
Looking for an easy way to start the morning off with a filling and tasty breakfast? This Trader Joe's Vegetable Hash Omelet is both of those!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of Trader Joe's Vegetable Hash
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- *Hot sauce for topping
Instructions
- Whisk to eggs in a small bowl
- Add the seasonings and mix
- Add the Trader Joe's Vegetable Hash and stir in
- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a small frying pan and heat on medium-high
- Pour the egg mixture into the frying pan. Cook until the edges of the egg begin to cook, then flip it over, about 3 minutes
- Cook for another 2 minutes, then flip over and fold it over.
- Cook about 30 seconds on one side, then another 30 seconds
- Remove from heat and allow to cool before eating.
- Enjoy!
Notes
If you want to add cheese, you can put 1/4 cup of shredded cheese in the middle of the omelete before you fold it over!
