Who is all about going to those events that the entire family can attend? I know we love it when we can bring the kids somewhere knowing that they will all enjoy themselves. We are getting super excited about attending the Cirque du Soleil’s OVO at the CAJUNDOME and you should be too!
Why your family should see OVO.
I know it can be difficult to find events or venues to take your family. This is especially true if you have children under the age of 10. Believe me, I totally get it. I have 3 kids all under 10. We love doing stuff as a family, and it is easier when it engages all 3 of them. Well, the Cirque du Soleil’s OVO at the CAJUNDOME on March 25-27th is going to be absolutely perfect for the entire family!
As most of you may already know, Cirque du Soleil started out in Quebec in the early 1980’s by streets performers. It has now redefined the world’s view of the circus by its incorporation of many sports disciplines (acrobatic gymnastics, trampoline, diving, tumbling, diving, and so much more) and the beauty of the theater. Each performance has a specific story line, and OVO is one for the entire family!
With all the amazing costumes, the set, the special effects, as well as the sports disciplines of the talented artists and performers, everyone in attendance will be in awe. I know my kids are going to be ecstatic once they see the set come to life. Did I mention that there is also the opportunity to Meet the Bugs before the performance? How cool is that? Shh…my kids don’t know about this special edition yet. I can’t wait to surprise them with this before the show starts!
OVO is more than just a show.
Cirque du Soleil is more than a circus theater experience. It is a show that brings the beauty of the theater with all the acrobats and other sports disciplines to give you an experience like no other. A story brought to life in a beautiful way. So what is OVO all about?
OVO is teeming with life. Insects work, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy in motion. Their home is filled with biodiversity, beauty, action and moments of quiet emotion. The awestruck insects are intensely curious when a mysterious egg appears, representing the enigma and cycles of their lives.
Seeing these ‘insects’ come to life in this performance is not only funny but beautiful all at the same time! There is constantly something going on, which I know will keep my 3 year old entertained for the entire show. She is my little gymnast and will be in complete awe.
