Prepping early for 4th of July with an easy fluffy cream cheese fruit dip!
Is anyone else super excited about 4th of July this year? I know we are after the way we had to spend 4th of July last year. This year will not be as exciting as prior celebrations, but it will a heck of a lot closer than last year! A fun, easy and yummy menu is in order. This fluffy cream cheese fruit dip is the perfect addition. See for yourself!
Fireworks and all the yummy food.
What is 4th of July without a few sparklers and yummy food? We normally have a bbq and do fireworks as soon as it gets dark enough to see them. This year I wanted to incorporate a fun and easy charcuterie board to the mix. This one will have a mixture of all things red, white, and blue. Oh, and a fluffy cream cheese fruit dip that is so good! If you are a fan of cream cheese, then you will love this dip.
The added cool whip gives it that fluffier texture where the powdered sugar gives it a boost of sweetness. Of course you can substitute the powdered sugar with a small pack of vanilla pudding mix if you want. This dip is super easy to prepare and even great for prepping a head of time.
What to serve with this fruit dip?
It may be obvious that you would serve fruit with a fruit dip, but you can also serve other ‘dippable’ things with it. Graham crackers, which we dipped in blue white chocolate, marshmallows and even pretzel sticks. This dip is one that is the perfect addition to any charcuterie board.
