Ham, Turkey & Cheese Sliders

Easy Ham, Turkey & Cheese Hawaiian Roll Sliders

March 18, 2020 · In: Recipes, Main Dish

No better time than now for those easy mealtime options. With all of us trying to balance life right now, having these easy options is a must. Take it from me: you will want to have this recipe in your back pocket. Here is how you can make easy ham, turkey, and cheese Hawaiian roll sliders!

Hawaiian Roll Sliders ‘slide’ in for the win.

As everyone is realizing (including myself), this quarantining is not as ‘easy-going’ as thought. I will say that it has been nice to be forced to slow down when it comes to those extracurricular activities or getting out and about for store runs. It is the balancing of life that has become a learning task. Majority of us have been forced to work at home while maintaining the household aka homeschooling.

I was already working from home, but this was without the distraction of kids. Can I just have a moment to say

Whew!

Now that I got that out of the way, let’s talk about this balance a little more. We are now having to balance work, homeschooling, disciplining, typical house tasks, all within the same day. There will be days when you are too tired to even think about dinner or cooking something. If this is you, then you will want to keep this recipe on hand. You don’t need very many ingredients and hopefully you can get them on a super quick grocery run (since we all need to try our best to keep that social distancing).

Easy peasy, without the lemon squeezy.

Once you have these ingredients, you can quickly assemble the sandwiches. The kids can even help with this recipe. Hey, make it apart of their ‘home ec’ lesson 😉 Once they are assembled, you can decide if you want to eat them sooner rather than later. These sandwiches need to sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. They can even sit in the refrigerator overnight! Super easy and a kid-approved meal!

Hoping you all are getting by well!

HUGE fan of Odele products, like their Moisture Repair Shampoo & Conditioner ( for intense hydration to restore + nourish) as well as their one and only Air Dry Styler ( smooths, conditions, gives soft separation for air dry perfection and made with plant proteins).

Did I mention their products are also Sulfate-free, derm-tested, cruelty-free, vegan formulas made with 100% natural fragrance or none at all?! I mean, what else can we ask for?! Oh and this super cute tote bag is a huge bonus 🖤🤍

Just add all to your Target cart.. you can thank me later 😘

2 chicken breast ( butterfly them open)
1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs
~ 1 tbsp Aglio Olio Seasoning Blend ( Trader Joe’s)
2-3 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 roll bread of Garlic Parmesan Butter ( from TJ)
Pack of noodles ( Gigli from TJ)
4oz Cream Cheese
12oz Shredded Italian Cheese ( Quattro Formaggi from TJ)
1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Mozzarella Peals
16 oz Chicken Bone Broth
Salt & Pepper to taste ( plus salt water for pasta)

Preheat oven to 350.
Prepare noodles, drain and set aside- want to be al dente.
In small bowl, add Aglio Olio and bread crumbs to bowl and mix; butterfly chicken breasts and toss in olive oil, then cover in bread crumbs mixture.
Heat about 1 tbsp of oil in Caraway saute pan, and cook chicken for about ~4 minutes each side. Remove chicken and add cheese on top and place in oven to bake for ~15 minutes.
While chicken bakes, add the butter to sauté pan and melt; add chicken bone broth; once heated, add cream cheese and cheeses. Stir on and off ( make sure cheese doesn’t stick and burn) and add seasonings. Once cheeses have melted, toss in pasta. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top as well as scattered mozzarella pearls. Put lid on and lower heat to low, allow to cook longer to melt cheese. Serve with chicken! #FriendsOfCaraway #traderjoesfinds #traderjoeshaul #onedish
