I have set many goals for myself this year. One of these goals included revamping our playroom. It has always been that ‘extra’ space where we kept toys and art supplies. Creating a reading spot.
My kids love to read. May I mention that I am more than thrilled about this? I have never had to force reading onto them because it has always come naturally for them. How did I actually create the reading spot with Achim Home Décor’s products? Well, I headed to my local Walmart and quickly found the Achim Home Décor section within the home improvement section. What an awesome variety they have to offer!

After looking over all my options in the Achim Home Décor section in Walmart, I decided to go with the Nexus Self Adhesive Carpet Tiles (Smoke color) to give my reading spot that comfy feel. Did I mention how easy these carpet tiles are to install? Once I cleaned the corner where I wanted the reading spot, I laid out the carpet tiles to make sure I had enough and that they were all going to fit just right.
I decided to go with the alternating fabric pattern flow. One tile at a time, I took the backing off and carefully placed the tile in place. I literally had all the carpet squares in place in under 10 minutes. Y’all, it looks so good!
