Spring is in the air as is all those adorable spring outfits that we all can’t wait to wear! I knew that having girls would be fun, but didn’t realize how much fun until we are able to coordinate our outfits to match. Now is the best time to get those matching outfits, especially with Easter right around the corner. Here is to those mommy and me Easter dresses and outfits!
The fun with spring styles.
I love all the fashion styles that come with spring clothes and accessories. With the warmer weather comes the opportunity for cute sandals and wedges and all those pastel colors and prints. I will say this time of the year is when I will actually wear pink more than once. White pants are also a favorite of mine, but took a bit of confidence before I put on my first pair. The idea of kids wiping their dirty hands all over them is the main reason why I waited so long. Polka dots, florals, and all things striped begin to reappear in more abundance. Man, I love spring!
Planning those Mommy & Me Easter dresses & outfits.
When it comes to planning those Mommy & Me dresses and outfits, you need to first decide on a color scheme. I sometimes skip this entirely and first look for what I can find for the girls. With them being about 5 years apart, it can be difficult to find matching outfits. I then search for what I can find that will somehow match with the color scheme of their outfits.
Target wins again!
We all love Target for one reason or another. Well, it has won me over all over again since I was able to find all our outfits there! You heard me right. I found my 2 year old, 7 year old, and my outfit all in the same shopping trip. The girls’ dresses were actually matching dresses-score!
Once I found their dresses, I made my way over to the women’s clothing section where I found my top. I luckily had the white pants already. Grabbed them from Forever21.
All our shoes were also purchased at Target. Got the sandals on sale with their *Buy 1 Get 1 1/2 Off* deal.
All that fun taking pictures with kids.
I had to include a few bloopers from our photo session. Oh how kids can make things more interesting, particularly those boys.
My son wasn’t thrilled that he was being left out on those Mommy & Me pictures as you can tell! Check out Target for our outfits! To make it easier, I have even included the links below 🙂

I’ll definitely keep Target in mind when I get to that point (my husband and I are currently TTC) and I love how your outfits match, but arent’s the same since I think the overly matchy look is oftentimes a bit… too much if you know what I mean!
