Deviled Eggs

Ranch-Style Deviled Eggs & Pasta Salad

November 27, 2019 · In: Recipes, Side Dishes

I’ve partnered with Great Day Farms, and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

What is the holidays without some deviled eggs, right? I can’t tell you when I had a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal that did not include these. It was no wonder that I was going to include them on our menu, and these have a twist: ranch-style.

Deviled Eggs

Finding those delicious hacks during the holidays.

We all know how chaotic the holidays can be, especially when it comes to meal prepping. Finding any hack to make my life easier is a plus. Enter in Great Day Farms Hard-Boiled Eggs. Y’all, talk about life saving! Boiling eggs is not too big of a deal, but when you have to wait for them to cool before you peel them-ugh! Oh, and don’t get me started on actually peeling hard-boiled eggs. No fun for me.

Great Day Farms

Great Day Farms Hard-Boiled Eggs come in either a 2-pack or 6-pack, making it easy for you to choose exactly what you need. Not only are hard-boiled eggs a great source of protein, but a delicious one at that. Take these deviled eggs and pasta salad for instance.

Deviled Eggs

‘Egg’cellent way to enjoy the holidays!

The menu is a huge factor during the holidays. So finding those recipes that are not only easy, but delicious are important. I stand behind both of these recipes and will be bringing them along with me. This pasta salad is such a great dish to keep in the fridge during the week for a quick meal. Pick up all those ingredients at Walmart, Great Day Farms Hard-Boiled Eggs in the deli section, and meal prep at the beginning of the week! My kids even love these hard-boiled eggs: alone, as deviled eggs, and in this pasta salad.

Great Day Farms

You won’t be disappointed. It is too ‘egg’cellent 😉

    Great Day Farms
  • Slice each hard-boiled egg in half and remove the yolks. Place yolks into a small bowl.
  • To the yolks, add 1/2 of the ranch seasoning and mayonaise. Mix until all is creamy. If necessary, you can add a little more mayonaise.
  • Place a dollop into each opening in the egg halves, except for 2 halves that will be set aside for later. Sprinkle each egg half with paprika for coloring.
    Deviled Eggs
  • With the 2 egg halves, dice into small pieces for the pasta salad.
    Great Day Farms
  • Now for the pasta salad. Once you have rinsed off the cooked noodles, toss them in the left over yolk mixture.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, diced egg white, and shredded cheese to the pasta; lightly toss.
    Deviled Eggs
  • If you desire a little crunch, add in the cooked bacon pieces!

Wishing you all an Eggceptionally delicious holiday!

Take it from me, there is no need to stress over the holidays. Make more time to spend with family and friends and less time worrying about the meal prep. Don’t get me wrong, I love to be in the kitchen. There are just times when it shouldn’t be spent in front of the stove or sink. Pick up your Great Day Farms Hard-Boiled Eggs as well as the rest of the ingredients for the perfect holiday menu items!

Did someone say Dubai Chocolate Brownies? Yes inde Did someone say Dubai Chocolate Brownies? Yes indeed! These are not only crave worthy and simple, they beat that price! One of the key ingredients: @kelloggsus Frosted Mini Wheats.

1 box of brownie mix
1 - 1 1/2 cups Frosted Mini Wheats
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup Tahini
8oz jar Pistachio Cream / Butter
1 - 11oz bag of semisweet or milk chocolate morsels
1 tbsp coconut oil

Bake brownie mix according to box, making sure to line pan with parchment paper. Melt 3 tbsp butter in a saucepan and add the Frosted Mini Wheats. Stir and crush up Frosted Mini Wheats with spoon. Cook on low-medium for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.

Add the tahini and pistachio cream to the Frosted Mini Wheats mixture. Once brownies have completely cooled, add the Frosted Mini Wheats mixture to the top of the brownies, reserving a little in a ziploc bag for decorative topping later.

Melt the chocolate morsels and coconut oil in increments, making sure to stir to prevent burning. Once completely melted, pour on top of the Frosted Mini Wheats/Pistachio mixture. Then add the decorative touch with the left over mixture before placing it in the fridge to set. It will take about an hour to fully set!
