Yes to these simple chocolate chip protein bars.
Hello again! I am back with a super (SUPER) simple recipe that will make for a quick and healthy snack option. These simple chocolate chip protein bars are full of all the flavor and are ready to go in an hour.
Gluten free and tasting so good.
I sometimes find it difficult to find protein powder that tastes good and doesn’t upset my stomach. I know I am not along with this. You know that protein powder that has a horrible aftertaste that you try to find all the ways to hide it? Yep. Then some just don’t sit well on the stomach. I don’t have the time for that! So, I am excited to share these simple chocolate chip protein bars that are both delicious as well as being gluten free (thank you Bob’s Red Mill).
I am about to make another batch just so I can freeze a ton of them to have whenever. Y’all, they really are that good!
Love a good switch-a-roo recipe.
Another thing I love about this simple chocolate chip protein bars recipe is that you have the option to switch up some of the ingredients. I of course used Bob’s Red Mill Almond Protein Powder. If you are unable to get this exact protein powder, you can substitute the one that you use! Not a fan of chocolate chips? Swap them out for something else. This can be dried fruit, nuts, or another ‘candy’ substitute.
I also used a sugar alternative that had maple syrup flavoring. I normally use agave or honey, but wanted to give this one a try (and loved it)!
A snack option that you can trust.
I am all about the grab and go options. With school starting soon, these will be even more of a go to for our family. Love the fact that these simple chocolate chip protein bars are not only quick and easy to make, but you know exactly what is in them. If you have a child who has an allergy, you can better watch what you are feeding your kids with easy recipes like this.
This recipe calls for peanut butter, but you can most definitely use an alternative if anyone has a peanut allergy.

Protein powder for that powerful sustainable energy!
It isn’t new concept. Protein is a great source of sustainable energy. You know, that energy that will last without that huge burnout/crash like sugar gives? I have been trying to do better with getting more healthy energy sources and eliminating all the sugar. It has been a lot harder than I thought it would! That’s why I love it when I can have recipes like this simple chocolate chip protein bars.
