Healthy On-The-Go Snack Great for Kids

January 15, 2019 · In: Momlife, Lifestyle

This post is sponsored by Real Food Bar but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I don’t know about you all, but the chaotic schedule during the school year can get pretty overwhelming. The after school activities keep us on the go! When the afternoons are too busy for preparing a snack before we head out, I always tell my kids to grab a snack to go. Finding those snacks that are not only considered healthy but also actually ‘good for them’ is important to me.

Active lifestyle with children.

Having a child participate in extracurricular activities equals to lots of time spent outside the house. For my daughter, this means she has practice 3 times a week. You better believe I want to make sure she is fueling her body with all those nutrients she needs to maintain her active lifestyle. Swimming is her jam. When we are not near a pool or at a practice, she is submerging herself in our oversized tub. The girl loves to swim.

Well this mom is excited that her child has something that she truly enjoys and loves doing. Even more so, an on-the-go snack option perfect for her busy schedule and her daughter’s active lifestyle. Real Food Bar are a great alternative for snacking when prepping snacks at home is not possible.

The ‘real’ deal: Real Food Bar

Real Food Bar is exactly that, a food bar consisting of ‘real’ ingredients. Nothing artificial. They are made with gluten free, organic and non-gmo ingredients. This makes them the perfect on-the-go snack for children and adults with any type of food intolerance. Real Food Bar is also vegetarian and contain no dairy or soy. Each bar is made with a perfect blend of plant-based protein, natural carbs, and prebiotics for a complete macronutrient profile.

Real Food Bar come in 3 different flavors: Kahana Bay (cacao sea salt), Arenal Volcano (peanut butter), and Columbia River (cherry cashew). Each bar contains 15g of protein from peas that is easy to digest! The fact that there are no artificial sugars is also a win for me.

Did I mention how you can grab yours? Real Food Bar will be shipped directly to you at no cost. That is right, free shipping!

I’ve never heard of these. I like that they are full of protein because that what I need the most in bars like these. I’ll be trying these out when I get home.

Sweetest part of tonight πŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ… Being from M Sweetest part of tonight πŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ… Being from Mississippi and having gone to Ole Miss before transferring to LSU, tonight was hands down the most disappointing game I have ever watched. Not because the Tigers lost, but the way Ole Miss fans were BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER the game.

I know we all like to trash talk, but OMG. The overall disrespect and horrible sportsmanship- even after they won.

On a positive note, these cheesecakes are hands down the best and will always make me happy πŸ˜‚πŸ«ΆπŸ»
